This documentary was a grea t documentary in that it really shows the true intentions of the corporate world. It was similar to the no logo article and they both show what can happen when corporations get in your head. Corporations do not put enough effort in the quality of their products but are selling you the name of their brand rather than the product itself. This has been proven evident many times in the past. Corporations have been proven to be very effective in this strategy and have only continue to sell billions upon billions of dollars of their merchandise.
Both the article point out that these corporations dont give a shit about reputation or the consumer. To those guys its all about the cash and the way they get in our heads. Corporate America almost has a sense of evilness to it the big corporate bosses think they are invincible and that nothing can affect them or even put a dent in their business. Take for example wal-mart which is a corporate giant that promises low prices for high quality products. But anybody that shops at wal-mart could tell you that they could get high quality products for even lower products at the local grocery store around the block. Nobody is gonna argue with that because its true except maybe the corporate bosses who know in actuality that their product quality sucks big time but they tell themselves "hey, were making big money, who gives a shit about product quality?"
In return to this corporate madness nobody not even the government can stop these guys because big corporations here have gone global and nobody has dared try to stop them because they can't they have no power to go up against the big guns that corporations have in their arsenal and the number one weapon that corporations have is the almighty dollar. COrporations have proven that as long as you got the cash nothing can stop you and thats how its going to be forever because money can get you anything you want.

No Logo
No Logo explains to us how advertising works and how it is put in place in society today. This work shows us how stupid we as a society have become about are brand name products and how retarded this country has become. Klein points out to us how the big name companies have affected us with their name and not their product. This is because they dont even produce their own products but rather they produce them in ohter countries. But the big thing these corporations are doing is just selling ideas instead of a sure fire product.
Obviously Naomi Klein hknows what shes talking about because she has like the rest of us seen what can happen with corporate advertisings and their actual production of their goods. We see every day people in our own households buying something from a corporation just to get the name instead of what they actually need out of their product.
The way these corporations are making their big money is extremely controversial in that their sending their work overseas and paying third world countries shit money to get the same quality from what they would have to pay workers in the states and this strategy has proved extremely effective. The corporate giants are making big money and we the consumers in the U.S. are getting ripped apart with less jobs and empty promises with shitty product results.
But corporations product quality and prices are always affected by the economy. When you can get a product like coca cola cheaper with a product like Faygo cheaper and they both essentially have the same taste, then this forces the big boys to raise their prices to separate themselves from the little guys.
